THE VENUE

Clapham Common is a popular and attractive open space at the heart of a densely populated area of South West London.

It is well served by public transport, including the underground, buses and rail, with connections to Central London and to destinations throughout the South East.

Many visitors to the show will arrive on cycles or on foot from residential streets radiating from the Common.

Clapham Common is a triangular area of grassland of about 220 acres in size, situated between Clapham, Battersea and Balham in south London.

It is managed and maintained by the London Borough of Lambeth.

It has 3 ponds and a paddling pool and is surrounded by many fine houses.
The park is as diverse as it is vast.
Famed for its music gigs and festivals, crammed with kite flyers, joggers, cyclists and children it is one of the most popular spaces in South London.


Clapham Common Bandstand, situated in the heart of the common, is both the largest and oldest surviving bandstand in Greater London. The Grade II listed building has a charming ora surrounding it, and boasts to be one of the largest bandstands in England.
